Tania Gleave
Tania designs and makes the Lemon Park jewellery. She sources and selects all of our materials and components personally, whether they are found locally, or in Europe, Asia or South America. She has a BA in Asian Studies and Japanese from the University of Victoria, B.C. and a Diploma in Textile Art and Design from Capilano College, Vancouver. Many of Lemon Park’s designs are inspired by Tania’s years of work overseas in Africa, Europe, and Antarctica. Tania is a professional artist and her studio is on the North Shore of Vancouver.
Penny has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been a Registered Nurse for ten years. She was ready for a change and looked to a career that would meet her interest in business, fashion and design. Penny has now completed a program in Business at British Columbia Institute of Technology and she is enrolled in ongoing courses at Small Business B.C. She is embracing her new role in developing the business side of Lemon Park and bossing around her sweat shop working sister Tania.
Jordan is an urban artist born and raised in Vancouver and has spent most of his thirty-six years close to the city center. Punk rock, skateboarding and hip-hop have played a large role in his personal and artistic development. In 1994, he completed the Studio Art Program at Capilano College. Jordan exhibits in solo and group exhibitions primarily in and around Vancouver. He is responsible for creating the Lemon Park logo and limited edition individually painted bags. The original Lemon Park brother.
Known as “The Resinator”, Peter Kiss creates the resin pieces for Lemon Park. He brings a variety of skills to the team with 18 years as a full time artist (predominantly sculptures) and has his own gallery on Granville Island. Peter has had two previous careers as an architect and a zoologist. Peter’s architectural experience has been instrumental for creating the resin pieces but his zoological career we have yet to find a use for…..
Y’u'han began work with Lemon Park summer 2007. She is an Industrial Design student at Emily Carr School of Art and Design. Y’u'han is an invaluable asset to Lemon Park, assisting Tania hands-on with making the jewellery. We think she is great and so is her fabulous fashion sense!
